Morning Bliss:  Getting Divine Wisdom_


Focal Scripture : 1kings 3:9; So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"


                   Read: 1kings 3:6-12


Previously, we have being on this subject of wisdom, and we saw the Divine God in displaying His Wisdom, So practical in creation, the scriptures writers" began to explain of how deep His wisdom is. 

Wisdom in other words, is accumulated knowledge or erudition or enlightenment.

Puting Knowledge to work, is bringing wisdom to action. 

Divine Wisdom is when we see life or we understand life from God's perspective and act accordingly.

We sometimes think of knowledge and wisdom as Interchangeable terms but wisdom is different from knowledge because the presence of knowledge does not ensure the presence of wisdom, wisdom is the application of knowledge.


It is God's will that you walk in divine wisdom and so He is ever ready to demonstrate His Wisdom, to whoever ask or positions him or herself for it. James 1:5 if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him., So God is ever ready to go along with You in all your endeavors to displaying His wisdom, so if you lack Him, which is to Say, "Left-Behind, Go back and be endowed with His Spirit of wisdom.


Remember, When you accept Jesus as Your lord and savour, The Holy Spirit dwells in You, the Spirit that dwells in Us is simply the Spirit of Wisdom, Col. 2:3,.

If Christ resides In You, then you are endowed with Divine Wisdom, it is part of our salvation Package.

All you need is to activate it, be conscious and put it to Work, by puting down your own thoughts and imaginations- 2Corith. 10:5. and sticking to the Holy Spirit who searches the Mind of God- 1Corith. 2:10. Operating the Discernment of Spirit in all ramification. 

We are God's Handiwork, according to Eph.2:10, so whenever we display God's wisdom, God takes pleasure. 


Today, let's look at three Scriptural Steps to Operating Divine Wisdom. 

 1. Study and obey the word of God. 2 Tim 2:15.

If you study and apply the word of God it will make you wise and it will direct you on what to do, think and say and where to go, that's wisdom.


 2. Having the fear of God. Proverbs 9:10. 

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

It make you accountable to God.

It was the fear of God that made Joseph to flee from Potiphar's wife and her request Genesis 39:7.

The word "Fear, does not depict being scared, it means to "Reverence..

off course God is your father and nothing to be scared about Him, He is Loving and always wanting our good. 


 3 . Desire and Ask God to direct your paths  (Wisdom). 1kings 3:6.

God said we should delight ourselves in Him and He will grant the desires of our heart; Psalm.34:4 . Like Solomon he asked for wisdom to rule his people and God granted his request.

God does not grant you wisdom to achieve evil, and for mischievousness, He does for Good things, notice Solomon desire was for Good, so guide your desires before you go to God for anything. 


 Today , beloved of God, before you start activities, be led by His Spirit, Remember the saying, Wisdom is profitable to Direct.
