Morning Bliss: The Holy Spirit_ 


Focal Scripture : Luke.3.22; And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, "You are My beloved Son; in You, I am well pleased." [NKJV].

The Holy Spirit in other words called the Holy Ghost is of the three personalities in the trinity which are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, simply put three in one God. 

What you should bear in mind is that the Holy Spirit is a person like God the Father, and the Son as mentioned earlier. 

God the Father represents God's authority and judgment, the Son represents His word while the Holy speaks of His power. 

In the old testament, the Holy Spirit comes to earth under special circumstances; His stay with the Children of Men was temporal, this is what I tag visitation, so he was like a visitor to the people at the time. 

He never resided with men permanently (1Sam.10:10, 19:20) not until the appearance of the Son of God, Jesus Christ who is God the Son, the word ( John 1:1-3).

The Holy Spirit was resident in Christ till the time of His ascension, before then He ascertain that if He was not taken ( ascend to heaven) the comforter (Holy Spirit) will not be given ( descend to earth), John.16.7 - Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 

For a man not to fulfill the desires of sinful nature, he needs to live in the spirit (Gal.5:16).

This can only be possible if the Man is filled and led by the spirit as Jesus Christ was (John.4:1). Knowing the essence of this, Jesus Christ asked His disciples to wait for Him at Jerusalem, Act.1:8.

To the believer and everyone that is called, it is of utmost importance that the Holy Spirit is descended upon such one for the fulfillment of the ministry.

 If you have not yet received him, then it's time to wait on him for approval of your service and ministry to God.

He ( the Holy Spirit) is worth waiting for. 
Wait on Him today!
